Situated at the top of The Gulf of Thailand, the weather in Pattaya is subject to seasonal Monsoons blowing in from China and Vietnam and has three distinct seasons. The area is warm all year round with an average temperatures of 28 to 30 degrees Celsius.
November through February is the cool season with temperatures of between 21 and 31 degrees Celsius. Very little rainfall is experienced during these months. The low rainfall and moderate temperatures makes this the best time to go to Pattaya if you want to skip the rain and subsequently also sees the highest hotel rates.
The hottest months which also see high humidity are from March to May with temperatures varying between 27 and 35 degrees Celsius. Some showers may be experienced and is most likely to occur toward the end of April and into May.
June to October is the rainy season with regular daily downpours lasting a few hours, yet with plenty of sunshine in-between. The upside? Accommodation is much cheaper with hotels in Pattaya starting offer special deals. Temperatures during this time vary between a maximum of 31 degrees Celsius during the day to minimum 25 degrees at night.
