Transportation in Koh Tao

One major concrete road currently exist which connect the North end of Sairee Beach where to biggest concentration of hotels in Koh Tao is located with Chalok Baan Kao in the South, passing the main village of Mae Haad and the pier in the middle.

Upon your arrival at the pier there will be Songthaew taxis offering transportation to your resort and you will also find them parked in Mae Haad Village as well as Siree Village. Make sure to negotiate a fee before using their services since they do tend to be a little expensive in relation to the distance they travel.
