Though the 2nd largest island in Thailand, Koh Chang is not as commercially developed as places like Koh Samui or Phuket. It is a much more authentic destination to escape the familiar with a rest and laze atmosphere. Because the island is a designated marine park nature is to a large extent untouched due to the absence of mass tourism.
Rain forests, a mountainous interior and stunning beaches offer the ideal environment to enjoy the outdoors and there are also several man made things to do in Koh Chang when you need a break from lazing on the beach or being pampered at a spa.
