Phuket Waterfalls |

Ton Sai, Bang Pae and Katu are not the largest waterfalls in Thialand, but certainly worth a visit during the rainy season, May to October. The largest of the them, Bang Pae, is 10 meters high. The waterfalls are located 22 kilometers from Phuket Town and there are restaurants where you can enjoy lunch after a refreshing dip in one of the waterfall's pools.

Located in the Phra Thaeo National park in the east of the island you can visit the Gibbon rehabilitation center where Gibbons that have been abandoned are cared for. The Ton Sai waterfall, just on the other side of the hill, offers a great picnic spot. Parts of the movie “Good Morning Vietnam” was filmed here. Another less known waterfall is located at Ao Yon Noi Beach near Cape Panwa with several small pools to swim in. |

Islands around Phuket |

Several islets offer stunning views, coral reefs, beautiful white sandy beaches and marine life. They are part of the reason why this area is also a world renowned dive site. Arrange a boat trip around these islands with one of the many agents on Phuket, go scuba diving and snorkeling at Koh Phi Phi, the Similan islands, Surin or Coral island.
Go sea kayaking around Rong Yai Island, or just have some quiet time on one of the soft sandy and secluded beaches on one of the many other islands surrounding Phuket.

For those nocturnals visiting Thailand, it's nightlife holds much promise. In the Patong area of Phuket, the nightlife is busy, loud and raunchy and will throw at you all you can take and more. There is no end to the night clubs, coyote bars, go-go bars, karaoke bars, pubs and restaurants. Patong Beach is certainly the biggest and busiest in terms of nightlife with Bangla Road being the main strip. Safari bar on the outskirts of Patong is the main after hour’s venue.

Visit Simon Cabaret, the biggest transvestite show and let the lady boys dazzle you with a performance in colourful costumes, bright lights and awesome sound. If you want it less crowded and touristy, we suggest you hop over to Phuket Town. The Timber Hut and Jammin sees mostly locals and guarantee a good night’s partying. |

The nightlife also caters for more family orientated activities. Here you will find English language cinemas, mini golf courses, three bowling alleys, a go cart track and shooting range. The green man British Pub is a little jazz joint in Phuket Town.

This activity promises loads of fun for the whole family. This is not a paintball game, but similar. Instead of shooting with a paint rifle, it fires an infrared beam at a range of up to 150 meters. Shots travel at 186,000 feet per second and can not be deflected by wind. This is a 1 hour game with unlimited ammunition and costs approximately 800 Baht.
