Need to know a little more about the climate and weather before booking your beach resort accommodation in Pattaya? Situated at the top of The Gulf of Thailand, the weather in Pattaya is subject to seasonal Monsoons blowing in from China and Vietnam and has three distinct seasons. Pattaya is warm all year round with an average temperatures of 28 to 30 degrees Celsius.
November through February sees temperatures of between 21 and 31 degrees Celsius and is regarded the cool season. Very little rainfall is experienced during these months. The low rainfall and moderate temperatures makes this the best time to visit Pattaya for many and therefore peak tourist season. The only downside for visiting this most popular of Thailand destinations during this period is that prices for the resort accommodation in Pattaya increases. The hottest months are from March to May with temperatures varying between 27 and 33 degrees Celsius. High humidity is also experienced during this time. Some showers may be experienced and is most likely to occur toward the end of April and into May.
June to October is the rainy season in Pattaya with regular daily downpours lasting a few hours and plenty of sunshine between showers. Temperatures vary between a maximum of 31 degrees Celsius during the day to minimum 25 degrees at night. These temperatures, combined with the rain, also sees an increase in mosquitoes, so be sure to bring some protection. Though the rainy season, it is rare to experience rain through-out the entire day. Rather, intense downpours for an hour or two are the norm.
