Phuket and Krabi are both in close driving range of Khao Lak, respectively 100 and 125 kilometers away. Though the area sees frequent travel it is not as touristy and crowded as some other areas sometimes can become. The area's biggest attractions is its natural beauty, pristine beaches and enticing diving opportunities.
