Transfers to Hotels in Krabi

Krabi can be reached by car, bus, train or, since the opening of the Krabi International Airport, also by air. Below we provide a brief description of how to get to Krabi resorts quickly and easily.

Krabi by Air
	Thai Airways and Air Asia fly the route between Bangkok and Krabi Daily. The duration of the flight is approximately 80 minutes. From Phuket, Phuket Airways also fly to Krabi Daily.

Krabi by Train
	There is unfortunately no direct train service from Bangkok to Krabi. You can however catch a train from Bangkok’s Hualamphong Station to either Trang, Surat Thani or Tung Song (Nakorn Sri Thammarat Province) and catch a bus or taxi from there to Krabi.
An express train leaves Bangkok for Trang daily at 17:05 pm and the journey takes approximately 16 hours and 35 minutes to reach Trang the next morning at 09:40 am. A rapid train leaves Bangkok daily at 18:20 pm and arrives in Trang 12:20pm the next day. For Tung Song, a rapid train leaves Bangkok daily at 17:35 pm and arrives at 10:45 am the next morning. An express train leaves daily at 19:15 pm and arrives the next day at 12:00 noon.
Krabi by Bus
	Busses leave Bangkok’s Southern Bus Terminal from Pen Klao, Boromaratcha Chonnani road daily. You can choose anything from a “normal bus” to 2nd class, 1st class air-conditioned to 24 seat VIP busses. Tickets are available at any travel agent in Bangkok or can be organized via your hotel’s front desk. The trip takes approximately 13 hours. Buses also leave from Phuket’s Southern Bus Terminal for Krabi daily. This trip takes approximately 3 hours 30 minutes.

Krabi by Car
	If you want your own wheels while staying in the best hotels in Krabi, simply rent a car and drive there. It is not that difficult. From Bangkok, take route 4, passing Petchaburi, Prachuap Khirikhan, Chumpon, Ranong and Pang Nga provinces before reaching Krabi 946 kilometers later. From Phuket, take route 402 to get to route 4. Then pass Tambon Kok Klay of the Takua Thung district until you get to Krabi. The total distance is 185 kilometers.
From Phuket, Koh Phi Phi or Koh Lanta, an approximate two hour boat ride will also get you to Krabi. As with most hotels in Thailand, hotels on these islands or one of several tour operators, will arrange a boat trip and take care of your transfer in no time.
