Koh Samet Hotels - Transfers

Transfer to Koh Samet hotels is quick and easy with only a short distance to cover. The journey from Bangkok to Koh Samet is done within half a day. The easiest Koh Samet transfer from Bangkok, is to take an air conditioned bus from Bangkok’s eastern bus terminal, locally known as the Ekamai bus terminal, to Ban Phe in Rayong. The travel time is approximately 2 to 3 hours.

Once there, there are several piers from where boats leave for Koh Samet. One of the main piers is called Tha Tarua Phe (Tel: 0 3889 6155/6). You will be offered tickets and accommodation by just about everyone, but go directly to the Pier office and purchase your ticket there.

Departures are hourly to Samet’s Tha Na Dan Pier and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete the 7 kilometer journey.
