Find guidelines below to transfer to resorts in Phi Phi easily and quickly. Getting to a Ko Phi Phi resort is simple with the island reachable from Krabi, Phuket and Koh Lanta.
Transfer from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi resorts can be done by speedboat and the trip will take approximately 50 minutes. This option will see you cough up a few thousand Baht. Should you take the normal join cruise boat, remember that during peak season, December to April, boats leave from Phuket's Ao Po Grand Marina for Phi Phi at 11:30 and 16:00. Boats leave Phi Phi back to Phuket twice daily at 08:30 and 14:00. Make sure you book your flight tickets to coincide with these boat times. During the rest of the year only one boat is available, leaving from Phi Phi to Phuket at 08:30 am and Phuket back to Phi Phi at 13:00. From Krabi, you can take a boat from Chaofa Pier which currently leaves at 09:30 am, 10:30 am and 02:00 pm. Boat tickets are available at the Pier or from several agents in Krabi town or on Phuket. Boats from Koh Lanta and Ao Nang only run from October to April which sees the peak season. The best resorts in Phi Phi will however also be able to assist with your transfer booking requirements. To get to Krabi from Bangkok, you can either take a bus from Bangkok’s southern bus terminal which leaves several times daily or simply fly from Bangkok to Krabi or to Phuket.
