Transfers To Resorts In Koh Lanta |
Depending where you are coming from, several options exist to transfer to your accommodation in Koh Lanta. Below are some explanations on how to get here easily. For transfer to Koh Lanta from Bangkok, Bangkok Airways offer a one hour flight from Bangkok to Krabi several times per week and Thai Airways offer daily flights. (Krabi Airport tel: 075 636 5459) . Should there not be flights available on this route, Thai Airways also fly daily between Bangkok and Phuket. Hotels in Koh Lanta can then be reached by boat from both Phuket and Krabi. Boat tickets can be purchased at the pier. However, our advise is the leave this to us to arrange for you in advance so you can arrive prepared.
Alternatively, air conditioned busses depart from Bangkok’s southern bus terminal to Krabi several times daily and the trip takes 12 hours. From Phuket, more than one option again exists to get to Krabi. Phuket Air flies daily from Phuket Airport to Krabi. Another option is to catch an air conditioned bus from Phuket’s bus terminal to Krabi. Busses leave for Krabi several times daily and the trip takes approximately 3 hours. Ferries are also available twice daily from Phuket to Phi Phi and from there to Koh Lanta. Once in Krabi Town, ferries leave for Koh Lanta twice daily at 10:30 and 13:30 and arrive in the town of Saladan on Koh Lanta two hours later. Please also note that some flights may be canceled during the low season and it would be wise to check with the airport and/or book flights in advance. Also click on "Domestic Flights" to view domestic flight schedules and make online bookings. Upon arriving, most, if not all hotels in Koh Lanta, will have transport waiting to take you to your place of stay at no charge. Expect to pay 50-150 Baht for transport upon leaving though. |
