Koh Kut Transfers |
| Koh Kut lies in the province of Trat, to the east of the country in the gulf of Thailand, just below Koh Chang. For Koh Kut transfer options, please see our explanation below on how to get to Koh Kut. For Koh Kut transfers from Bangkok’s southern bus terminal, air conditioned and non air conditioned buses leave for Trat hourly from 06:00 am until midnight. You have a choice of first class air conditioned buses, 2nd class air conditioned buses, regular buses or 24 seater air conditioned VIP vans.
The cost for a ticket on the VIP van is approximately 300 Baht. The average travel time is 7 hours. Alternatively, Bangkok airways fly the route between Trat and Bangkok twice daily. Transfer from Trat Airport to the pier can be done by taxi, of which plenty will be waiting to offer their business. Buying a package tour is preferred and offered by most resorts on Koh Kut, which will include your transfer by boat from Trat and your accommodation and meals, making it the simplest option to get there.
From Koh Chang, boats leave from Bang Bao Pier to Koh Kut daily or from the mainland from Laem Ngob and Laem Sok Piers in Trat. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Tickets can be bought from travel/tourist agencies on the island or in Trat. Please view the "Time Tables" option on our home page, to the right of your screen, to view ferry, bus and flight schedules and make online flight bookings. Should you wish to drive to Trat your self, you can also conveniently just click on the "Car Rental" option on our home page and book a car with one of our selected car rental companies. |
