Man made attractions and activities on Koh Kut are relatively absent and tourist would rather enjoy what nature offers them. Snorkeling, fishing and making the most of the beautiful beaches and the sun are the main activities. Hiking and kayaking are other favorites.
Ao Salad Fishing Village A fishing village is located at Ao Salad. Here you can experience the villager’s traditional lifestyle. You will be greeted with a wide Thai smile and offered to stay the night in one of their houses for 300 Baht and the opportunity to buy some fresh seafood.
Koh Kut Beaches Ao Prao, Ao Tapoa, Ao Yai, Ao Khlong Chao, Ao Khlong Ta Din, Ao Khlong Yai Kee, Ao Khlong Hin and Ao Khlong Ngam Kho are all excellent beaches on Koh Kut island offering accommodation to suit every budget. The beaches are great for snorkeling and swimming and with the many bays dotting the island kayaking is a must. Almost all Koh Kut resorts and hotels on the island offer tours of the area.  Koh Kut Hiking The roads leading through Koh Kut's lush interior make for some great hiking. Wondering through the jungle is safe, scenic and offers the opportunity to be alone with nature.

Boat trips are popular with tourists for sight seeing of the area and visiting other nearby islands.

Kayaking is a great way to explore the environment on, and around Koh Kut. Taking a kayak up the Klong Chao River is a peaceful and tranquil experience.
Nam Tok Khlong Chao Waterfall Koh Kut This beautiful waterfall cascades down three tiers into a large pool ideal for taking a dip and cooling down in the clear water. You can kayak here up the river from the Khlong Chao Bridge or simply hike to the waterfall. It will make swimming in the pool so much more refreshing. Back to Top |
