Bangkok Airways fly the route between Bangkok and Trat twice daily and the trip takes approximately one hour. From Trat airport to the Laem Ngop Pier, Center Point Pier or Ao Thammachart Piers is done by taxi and then across to the island by ferry. From the pier, most resorts will be happy to have transport ready to transport you to your hotel.

Alternatively you can also take a bus from Ekamai Bus Terminal located at the Ekamai section of Bangkok’s Sukhumvit road which again is easily accessible by BTS Skytrain. The ferries at Laem Ngop Pier are approximately 700 meters from leam Ngop. The Centre Point pier is approximately 3.5 kilometers North-West of Laem Ngop. These Piers services both passenger and vehicle ferries. The ferry trip from Laem Ngop pier to Tha Dan Kao pier on the island takes approximately 45 minutes.
