Koh Chang lies in the province of Trat to the east of the country in The Gulf of Thailand. The distance from Bangkok to Trat is approximately 315 kilometers. Transfer to Trat can be done from Bangkok either by car, bus or air and then from Trat by boat or ferry to Koh Chang. By Air | | Bangkok Airways fly the route between Bangkok and Trat twice daily and the trip takes approximately one hour. Trat airport transfer to the Laem Ngop Pier, Center Point Pier or Ao Thammachart Piers, is done by taxi and then across to Koh Chang by ferry. From the pier, most Koh Chang beach resorts will be happy to have transport ready to transfer you to your hotel or resort. Domestic Flights | | | | By Bus |  | Alternatively you can also take a bus from Ekamai Bus Terminal located at the Ekamai section of Bangkok’s Sukhumvit road which again is easily accessible by BTS Skytrain. The trip to Trat by bus takes approximately 5 hours. Buses depart from Ekamai at 07:45 am and 09:45 am.
