Snorkeling and Scuba Diving |

Many certified Padi dive centers can be found on the island's main beaches. The best diving sites are off the southern coast around the small islands of Koh Kut and Ko Wai being top rated. With depths between 5 and 18 meters you will experience some of the most colorful coral and marine life. The archipelago consisting of 52 off shore islets makes it a natural site for entertaining scuba diving.

All scuba diving are done from boats, so no beach diving really exist. Koh Rang just to the south is considered one of the best, if not the best dive site in the area. Koh Yak and Koh Luan are ideal for those engaging in scuba diving for the fist time given the shallowness of the water. Rock pinnacles forming Phrai Nam and Hin Gadeng offers a 28 meter dive with coral visible all the way down. |

Other popular dive sites around the isand include Hin Larp, Koh Rom, Hin Kook Bard, Koh Thian, Koh Man Nai and many other. The best months to dive here is October to May when seas are calm and the visibility clear.

Kayaking |

Rent a Kayak for an hour or for the whole day and get a different view of the island. Cruising among the small off-shore islands is quite a relaxing activity and kayaks can be found around most beaches. |

Elephant Trekking |
 |
Elephant trekking through the jungle is a memorable experience. Ban Kwan Chang and the Chang Chutiman Tour at Klong Prao Beach are two elephant trekking operators on the island. The first offer a half day tour and include elephant bathing, feeding, performances and a one hour trekking into the jungle.
The second takes you into the tropical rain forest and the trip includes a stop at the beautiful and secluded Wang Nam Kiew waterfall.

Full day boat trips around the island offers sightseeing of the many surrounding small islands can be arranged. Many boat tour operators can be found on Khlong Prao Beach, Kai Bae, Bang Bao and white Sand Beaches. Full day trips include lunch and starts from 09:00 am to 17:00 pm. |

Located at White Sand beach is the new Monkey School. These trained monkeys amuses crowds with their theatrical abilities and comical stunts. Shows are offered three times daily and will definitely add a smile to your day. |

Fisherman's Village |

Close to Khlong Phrao, a fisherman’s village, built on stilts over the water, connecting houses with wooden bridges or walkways is a worthwhile attraction. Here you can experience the original way of life of the fishermen of the island. |

Koh Kut |

To the south lies Koh Kood. At 105 square kilometers it is the fourth largest island of Thailand. It boasts crystal clear water and magnificent beaches such as Ta Phao Beach, Khlong Chao Beach, Khlong Hin and several others. Tourists are taken here by one hour speed boat trip. |

Koh Mak |

Between Koh Chang and Koh Kut is a much smaller island called Koh Mak, sizing only 16 square kilometers.
